Edition: Urban Apparitions
Fragments of memory, ideology, and invisible urban narratives

Title: I Still Have A Bear In Berlin (Berlin)

Between infrastructure and memory, identity survives as a sign | The work connects urban transit architecture with symbolic fragments of Berlin’s identity. The title references the city’s cultural markers in both an ironic and melancholic way. The station becomes a threshold space: a site of constant movement where individuals briefly emerge before dissolving once again into the urban flow. The visual language oscillates between documentary precision and digital estrangement.

The artwork I Still Have A Bear In Berlin was published in 2026 in Lis Levell’s art and literary volume Erzählungen einer Ausstellung, situating the work within an interdisciplinary dialogue between visual art and contemporary literature. The publication expands the strategic direction of URBAN APPARITIONS through a literary-curatorial dimension, reinforcing the series’ position as a collectible body of work operating at the intersection of photography, narrative, and cultural discourse
